The Road to Techtopia: Helping you thrive and grow, now and into the future. An open space event

Date:
Tue, 2012-02-28 10:00 - 15:00

A creative solutions event for the information technology and digital media community

Where has the IT and digital media industry in the Kootenays come from, where is it today, where is it going, and how can you best succeed now and into the future?

The Road to Techtopia is getting together the creative minds of the Digital Media and IT community to air their successes, concerns, ideas and thoughts on what's great, what's not so great, what could be improved and how we're going to get to Techtopia in this region. KAST in the West Kootenay and KRIC in the East Kootenay want to hear from you so we can better serve, support and foster your growth into the future as we head down the road to Techtopia.

Featuring discussion openers from local industry veterans explaining their take on the history of the industry in this sector as well as innovative paths they are taking into the future we'll enter an innovative openspace format where you'll drive the agenda.

This Open Space event will link the East and West Kootenay as we explore the Road to Techtopia. Reconnect with your colleagues and take advantage of this exceptional opportunity to:

  • provide input on the development of programs to support your industry over the next two years;
  • build valuable connections with your peers throughout the Kootenays;
  • learn about  valuable tools to improve your business now
