| July 11, 2012 - ____________________________ The purpose of this RFP is to invite proposals from commercial organizations to provide web and mobile development and maintenance services. It is the desire of the Tourism Division that the Contractor has experience working with Destination Marketing Organizations and understands the aspects of global tourism marketing and building websites and applications that cater to a global audience. The Tourism Division currently operates 2 main websites, including multiple Consumer Websites (CW) in 9 countries along with an iPhone app, named "NearMeBC". The NearMeBC app is only in English. The Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation, Tourism Division is seeking an experienced and flexible web technology company that can offer expertise to meet technical requirements and deliver on deadlines on the following services: - Website / application development for personal computers and mobile devices such as smartphones, computer tablets and mobile web; - Technology consulting related to web development, including mobile; and - Website / application maintenance as required. |
