The Canadian Digital Media Network Mission

CDMN will encourage job creation and increase global competitiveness by linking Canada’s leading digital media centres with industry, government and academia.
The CDMN is comprised of acceleration centres, commercialization hubs and development centres across Canada. CDMN works to connect these key digital media ‘nodes’, helping them communicate, collaborate and share their unique strengths.
Community Futures Development Corporation of Greater Trail is a community driven organization consisting of a team of business savvy individuals and volunteer board of directors. We work with local community partners and budding entrepreneurs to ensure Greater Trail will be competitive in the Global economy.
Community Futures fosters local entrepreneurs through all phases of business from the pre-startup phase to the expansion of existing business. We offer entrepreneurial programs and training, business counselling, loan programs and a business library of resource material to people interested in expanding or starting a business. We also promote, co-ordinate and implement a wide variety of community economic development initiatives within the region.
The Digital Arts and New Media diploma program, located on the Tenth Street Campus in Nelson, provides two years of in-depth training in the design, development and production of new media.
The Digital Arts & New Media program seeks applicants who are dedicated to excellence and innovation in the field of interactive media. Students who enroll in this program can expect to become valuable team members for large group projects, as well as demonstrate their talents in a series of challenging and exciting individual projects throughout the program. Our mandate is to produce well-rounded, highly employable graduates, dedicated to producing high caliber work.

The Kootenay Association for Science & Technology (KAST) is a registered non-profit society whose members live and work throughout the West Kootenay-Boundary region and represent a broad range of interests in local industry, business, education and government. KAST works to foster a culture that values science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship as activities vital to maintaining and enhancing the competitiveness of the region. KAST organizes and supports events and initiatives that help to stimulate the growth of science and technology in the region.
